I am very new to motorcycles, and wouldn't even know
where to look for a solution to my problem. There is
oil leaking from the grilled area below the gas tank.
It seems as though it leaks bad when the bike is leaned
over. I have also found evidence of oil lower on the bike.
My brother (who is not a motorcycle mechanic) told me
that the oil gasket may be at fault. Is this a major
problem? Should I even ride my bike? Please advice me,
or give me an idea about the problem so I won't sound
like an idiot when I take it to a mechanic, and be a
gullible victim. It is a 96, I bought it as is. Thank
